I am a mature lady working on my own to give the best possible service that I can. I can offer continuity, reliability and compassion and as I am the owner, I know my new business depends on these qualities.
I lost my mother a few years ago but helped her go out while in a wheelchair and using oxygen. I understood that she still wanted to retain her dignity at all times and was careful to respect her. Since then I regularly visit my father who is 88 and lives on his own in Newark, checking on him and taking him shopping, ensuring that he is living a quality life.
Both my parents were nurses and I grew up for a few years in hospital accommodation in a geriatric hospital. I have also had experience as a nursing auxiliary in a geriatric hospital.
I have a husband, daughter, two cats and five chickens and own and continue to renovate a property. I have had a varied and interesting life so feel I have the life skills essential for care and can interact with people of all levels.
